Time for Tea

Like the rest of the world, I’ve been totally swept away by the charm and adorableness of Will and Kate’s new parenthood. There was possibly even the slightest emergence of teariness when they stepped out of those hospital doors…no real teardrops…but definitely a hint of it. That was unexpected.

I guess it’s just nice to see something truly happy in the news for once. Something to put a smile on our faces. And, wow, the grace and composure they manage to maintain in front of all those paparazzi…don’t know how they do it!

In honor of the proud parents, let’s celebrate as the British do with a spot of tea today…here’s some beautiful inspiration I stumbled upon across the web…

teacup // peach bellini jam // honey tea cake

radish chive sandwiches // assorted sandwiches // scones

  1. Hi Melissa! I had to take a break from working on my current post and am so happy I came here. Yes, isn’t the baby, the royal couple, and tea time just the loveliest??? Ahhhh…. I could sure use tea time right now!

Hiya! Funny you mention taking a break because I’m taking a break from posts to respond to comments! Ahhh, procrastination. 🙂 It was really great to meet you at blogbrunch last weekend. What an amazing group of women. Looking forward to many more brunches to come. Thanks for saying hi! Just stopped by your blog as well…your writing is great.
