I’m Back, Baby!

Well, that was traumatizing…

 

You may have noticed, I took a bit of an unscheduled break from blogging. As I was busily working behind the scenes to ready my new blog design and to move blogging platforms from from Blogger to WordPress, I encountered a bit of a technology snafu. Ok, ok…truth be told…I screwed something up. Let’s just say, I flipped a certain switch sooner than I should have, and the new site wasn’t quite ready yet, hence the two week hiatus. (In my defense, a move from Blogger to WordPress is no easy task as I was warned from many blogger friends out there…duly noted).

 

But the good news is I have made the move, the new design is in place, and I am back in business! Many people have told me “I loved your old blog! Why the move?” Well, I really liked my old blog too. It was a great starting point, and it was really user friendly for a beginner blogger, but I was ready for a makeover and more functionality that is offered through WordPress. Better to make the move now, rather than later, when there will be more content and (hopefully) more readers to deal with. After giving the re-design a go on my own, I ultimately had to call in developer, Aileen Barker, to help with much of the heavy lifting. And I’m loving the new look!

 

So, please, do take a look around! There’s still a bit of fine tuning to be done so you may encounter a few wonky links, goofy formatting, or certain sections under construction. I’ll be working out these final kinks over the next couple weeks.  In the meantime, I’d love to hear any feedback…good, bad, or ugly.

 

PS…did I mention I missed you all like crazy? There was a very obvious void in my life over these “dark days” of Serving Seconds, and it feels good to be back!
