It all started with a Facebook post…

 
I’ve been thinking about starting a blog for a while now, but I’ve always managed to talk myself out of it. I mean, does the world really need another food-loving, San Franciscan documenting their every food-related activity?
 
But then I had a change of heart. A while ago I stumbled upon an amazing lasagna recipe in Food Network magazine. I don’t often use recipes more than once so when I find one that is worth repeating, I’m ecstatic. For some reason, I felt the urge to take it a step further and share this recipe on Facebook…something I’ve never done before. Imagine my delight when not one, but TWO, people made the lasagna for dinner that very night (shout out to Jess & Sally…woot woot!!). Although it wasn’t my own original recipe, it still made me so happy to pay forward the recipe love. Because of that post, two amazing gals had some fun in the kitchen and ate some great food.
 
Everyone in my life knows I am so passionate (errrr…borderline obsessed) about all things food related. I love to cook food, eat food, read about food, watch food shows, talk about food…you get the point. I don’t claim to be an expert, but I do claim to enjoy every minute of it, and I’m excited to share it all here!
